The Jazzschool is proud to offer a range of camps and intensives for both adults and young musicians (middle school and high school age)!

These fun immersive programs are a great way to jumpstart your learning by working closely with our talented instructors. They also serve as the perfect forum for you to meet like-minded musicians from around the Bay Area and beyond.


Adult Summer Camps


Summer Jazz Guitar Intensive

A 5-day guitar intensive for intermediate to advanced jazz guitarists directed by Mimi Fox with special guest instructor Beth Marlis!

Summer Jazz Piano Intensive

A 5-day intensive for the intermediate jazz pianist, focusing on rhythm, comping, and soloing in both piano-bass-drums jazz piano trio and solo piano formats.

Summer Youth Program 2011 / Concert

Youth Summer Camps

Middle School Jazz Camp

In this fun week-long jazz camp, young musicians entering grades 7 – 9 explore the world of jazz and related styles of music.

High School Intensive

Six to eight advanced high school musicians are selected to work closely with top Bay Area jazz artists for a week of rehearsals, master classes, and private lessons, concluding with a public performance at the Jazzschool. For all rhythm section instruments and horns.
