Examine, learn and perform jazz/blues tunes from jazz giants such as Duke Ellington, Louie Armstrong, Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, Joe Williams, and Jimmy Rushing.

Gettin’ It Together: Musicianship, Vocabulary and Ear Training for Jazz Improvisation
This class is designed for intermediate-level players looking to work through challenging material in a hands-on workshop environment.

Indian Percussion Ensemble
Learn the foundations of Indian rhythm and vocal percussion (konnakol), essential hand drumming techniques on traditional instruments (mridangam, ghatam, and khanjira), ways to improve rhythmic time and feel, and approaches to improvisation and composition.
