On the Bandstand I: Meet the Band
This class is designed to help you build confidence in a live performance setting with a focus on bandstand essentials for vocalists, including: creating (and understanding the elements of) a clear, readable chart (aka lead sheet); communicating with instrumentalists effectively and collaboratively; creating arrangements; experimenting with style/feel; and approaches to improvisation/vocal soloing.
