Sitting in with a band is the surest way to become a more confident singer – and understanding the basic blues form opens up a treasure trove of material. In this class we will take that knowledge one step further, by explaining different rhythmic patterns (grooves) and apply them to your songs.

In this 2 part skills building workshop, Pamela Rose will also work with students on learning to begin and end songs, and learn how to ‘sculpt’ an arrangement on the fly while singing along to the mother of all music, the Blues. Classes will be accompanied by guitarist Garth Webber, with a drummer joining us for the last class.  Open to all levels – 12 students max
