Explore the composition techniques of jazz masters and investigate approaches drawn from classical Indian music to inform contemporary jazz composition. Students compose their own works by applying what they have learned throughout the course. By the end of the class, students will have developed a strong foundation in jazz composition and gained valuable insights into the creative process.
