Each workshop in this hands-on, 4-part improvisation series focuses on a common jazz tune or chord progression.

Each instructor will present their approach to learning and soloing over the selected tunes or progressions.

About Anton Schwartz

Saxophonist Anton Schwartz has won critical acclaim for each of five albums released since 1998. He has performed across the country in major venues from the Monterey Jazz Festival to Yoshi’s, SFJAZZ, Blues Alley and the Blue Note in New York. A passionate and expert educator, Anton Schwartz takes pride in helping musicians overcome their hurdles. He has been Artist in Residence at Harvard University and the Brubeck Summer Jazz Colony and has been a featured clinician and guest soloist for countless summer workshops, colleges, and high school jazz programs.
